YieldMax declared a weekly distribution of $0.2329 per share for the YieldMax HOOD Option Income Strategy ETF (HOOY), 10.6% below its prior payout, with payment set for Nov. 6.

The fund set Thursday, Nov. 5, as both the ex-dividend and record date. Shareholders of record that day are eligible for the distribution.

The latest payout is $0.0277 below the $0.2606 distribution declared Oct. 28. HOOY’s Oct. 14 weekly distribution of $0.3012 per share was also higher than the latest amount.

HOOY seeks weekly income by selling call spreads tied to Robinhood Markets Inc. (HOOD). Call spreads can limit how much HOOY benefits from gains in HOOD, and premiums may not cover losses if HOOD shares fall. Distributions are variable and not guaranteed.

The fund’s distribution rate was 60.38% as of the Nov. 3 close. The figure annualizes the latest payout against net asset value; it does not represent total return or indicate future distributions. HOOY’s 30-day Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) yield was 3.00% for the period ended Oct. 31 and excludes option income.
