Bitcoin (BTC) saw $95.98 million in short positions liquidated during the hour ending at 10:45 a.m. ET (15:45 UTC) Nov. 4, as its price rose 1.13% over the same period.

Total liquidations reached $100.72 million for the hour, including $95.98 million in short positions and $4.74 million in long positions. Short liquidations were about 20 times the long-side total, accounting for nearly all of the recorded activity.

Bitcoin began the interval at $79,393 and finished at $80,290, a $897 increase. The price change and liquidation totals use the same one-hour period, which ended at the stated cutoff. The data records positions liquidated as Bitcoin's price moved higher during that window.

TokenPost directly collected and aggregated public liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX. The $100.72 million figure is limited to those three exchanges and is not a marketwide total. Bitcoin is the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, and short positions dominated the measured liquidations.
