Long traders bore most of $345 million in crypto liquidations recorded over one hour on Nov. 5, as forced closures tied to bullish positions made up nearly all of the total.

Long positions represented about 95% of the headline total, while short liquidations were listed at $18.79 million. The reported activity was heavily concentrated on the long side.

The $327 million in long liquidations exceeded the long-side total in a prior one-hour snapshot by about $145 million. That earlier snapshot, dated Dec. 13, 2025, recorded $184 million in total liquidations, including $182 million from long positions. The Nov. 5 aggregate was $161 million higher across the same stated window.

A separate four-hour snapshot on Dec. 1, 2025, showed $435 million in liquidations, including $424 million in long positions. Its longer period makes it a different comparison from the Nov. 5 hourly tally. Together, the examples show why liquidation totals should be read against their measurement windows.
