ARK Invest-managed exchange-traded funds bought 348,406 shares of SpaceX (SPCX) on Nov. 4, a purchase valued at about $47.4 million at the closing price, as the stock fell 3.81% during the session.
The ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) bought 224,483 shares. The ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF (ARKQ) added 63,478, while the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) purchased 60,445.
SPCX closed at $135.92, down from $141.31 in the previous session. The closing price left shares just above the $135 IPO price.
The purchases followed ARK’s Oct. 8 sale of 29,048 SpaceX shares.
