Nasdaq-100 futures rose 0.4% Thursday evening as SanDisk and Micron gained 4% each after hours, offering a partial rebound for U.S. chip shares after a steep regular-session selloff.

At 7:20 p.m. ET Thursday (00:20 UTC Friday), futures on the Nasdaq-100 were 0.4% higher. SanDisk and Micron Technology each advanced 4% in after-hours trading. AMD gained 2%, and Nvidia rose 1%.

SanDisk's after-hours rise followed a decline of more than 12% during Thursday's regular session, when U.S. chip stocks extended losses. The figures reflect separate trading periods: the regular session and the later after-hours market.
