Crypto Sentiment Gauge Returns to Neutral After Six Fear Readings
The gauge rose to 50 from 34. On Nov. 4, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq gained while the Philadelphia semiconductor index fell about 3%.

A crypto sentiment gauge returned to neutral at 50 after six readings in fear territory, marking its second neutral score in eight days as markets diverged following the U.S. midterm election.
The gauge stood at 34 the previous day. Its earlier neutral reading was 51 on Oct. 29. The six readings in between ranged from 26 to 37, all within the fear category. The latest score of 50 was classified as neutral.
The change came alongside a mixed session for U.S. equities on Wednesday, Nov. 4. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 3.03% to 53,356.12, while the S&P 500 advanced 1.58% and the Nasdaq gained 1.44%. The Philadelphia semiconductor index fell about 3%.
Data-center shares came under pressure amid concern that AI regulation could tighten. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) each recovered part of their losses from the prior weekend, while Solana (SOL) and XRP also rose. Bitcoin’s move above $80,000 alongside U.S. stock gains was part of the broader market rebound.
