A wallet with no identified owner sent 159,782,552 USD Coin (USDC), worth about $159.8 million, to Binance, a transfer that drew social-media attention but had no confirmed purpose.

The transfer was valued at approximately $159,823,456.

USDC is designed to maintain a one-to-one peg with the U.S. dollar and is issued primarily by Circle. Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange. The transfer’s purpose remained unclear.
