Crypto commentator @pendle_fi shared a projection that tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) could reach $2 trillion to $4 trillion by 2030, a long-range estimate alongside current market measures that vary by what they count.

Tokenized RWAs encode claims to underlying assets in blockchain-based tokens, but holders’ ownership and voting rights depend on the product. Distributed tokenized RWAs totaled about $38.8 billion by mid-September 2026, counting tokens transferable between eligible wallets. A broader September measure put represented assets at about $365 billion and included assets that could remain restricted to an issuer’s platform. The figures cover different asset sets and are not interchangeable; the measures use different definitions.
