Nasdaq Intraday Gain Reaches 2.08% as Dow Falls in Mixed U.S. Trading

U.S. stocks moved in different directions during Friday’s intraday session, with the Nasdaq Composite up 2.08% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.61%, leaving the indexes split.

The S&P 500 gained as much as 0.58%. The Nasdaq had the strongest advance among the three major U.S. indexes, while the Dow was the only one to fall.
