A Nov. 5 map for Bitcoin (BTC) showed more than $1 billion in liquidation intensity at thresholds above and below $80,000 across major centralized exchanges, with the short-side reading slightly higher.

The map put long liquidation intensity at $1.115 billion if BTC fell below $78,000 and short liquidation intensity at $1.185 billion if it rose above $82,000. The readings differ by $70 million. The thresholds are $4,000 apart, with $80,000 at their midpoint.

The figures reflect the relative importance of liquidation clusters, not exact contract counts or the precise dollar value of positions to be liquidated. Taller bars mark clusters associated with stronger reactions when prices reach them.
