Crypto derivatives traders saw $873 million in positions forcibly closed over a four-hour stretch, with roughly 90% of the total coming from long positions as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) prices fell.

Long liquidations totaled $793 million, compared with $79.94 million in short positions. The figures put the long share just above 90%, with nearly 10 times as much liquidated on the long side as the short side.

Across 24 hours, liquidations reached $1.05 billion, affecting about 203,500 traders. Subtracting the four-hour figure from the 24-hour total leaves about $177 million for the rest of the day, meaning most reported liquidations clustered in the shorter period.

The largest single liquidation was a $10.94 million order on Binance’s ETH/USDT market. The Nov. 6 snapshot listed a 24-hour Bitcoin low of $75,558.30.
