Binance saw $2.8 billion in net inflows over 24 hours after withdrawals resumed following a security breach; founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao retweeted a post highlighting the shift.

Binance paused withdrawals while it investigated the attack and updated its security infrastructure. It resumed withdrawals in phases on Nov. 1.

Binance officials said roughly 95% of the affected assets had been replenished. That percentage measures restored assets, while the $2.8 billion figure describes net inflows over a 24-hour period.

Zhao had previously described Binance’s hourly flows turning positive within 24 hours and discussed where withdrawals were going.
