Nasdaq Futures Reach a 1% Gain as Chip Stocks Rise Overnight

Nasdaq futures climbed to a 1% gain on Friday, Nov. 6, after falling more than 1% earlier, while four major chip stocks advanced overnight, marking a rebound in U.S. technology shares.

SanDisk rose 6% and Micron Technology gained 5.5%, the largest advances among the four stocks. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) added 5%, while Nvidia climbed 2.4%.

The futures move was a swing of more than two percentage points, from a loss exceeding 1% to a 1% gain. An earlier Nasdaq futures update covered the shift into positive territory after an early drop of more than 1%.
