An Ethereum address linked to a participant in the 2015 initial coin offering bought 2,221 Ether (ETH). The purchases totaled $4.99 million and took place over the eight hours ending Nov. 5 at 10:46 p.m. ET (Nov. 6 at 03:46 UTC), for an average of $2,248 per ETH.

The address held more than 122,000 ETH after the purchases, valued at more than $272 million. The address is 0x7d6...841b and is linked to a participant who subscribed for 1 million ETH in the ICO.
