Airbnb shares rose 11.67% to close at $189.99 Friday, following a 3.54% decline the prior session that left the stock at $170.13 before the company’s third-quarter disclosure.

Both figures are regular-session closing prices at 4 p.m. ET (9 p.m. UTC). On Thursday, Nov. 5, the stock fell from a previous close of $176.37 to $170.13. It then finished Friday, Nov. 6, at $189.99.

Airbnb filed its third-quarter Form 10-Q and furnished its shareholder letter in a Form 8-K after Thursday’s close. The quarter ended Sept. 30.

Revenue for the quarter reached $4.869 billion, up 19% from a year earlier. Net income was $1.890 billion, and diluted earnings per share were $3.16. Gross booking value increased 21% to $27.7 billion, while nights and seats booked rose 16%.

Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, was $2.509 billion, up 22% year over year. Airbnb forecast fourth-quarter revenue of $3.22 billion to $3.28 billion, which would represent growth of 16% to 18% from the year-earlier period.

The company raised its full-year 2026 revenue-growth outlook to the “high teens” and forecast an adjusted EBITDA margin of about 36%. It also authorized up to an additional $12 billion in Class A share repurchases; the authorization is a limit on future buybacks, not a report of completed purchases.

Airbnb described “underlying global travel demand” as healthy in its shareholder letter. Its third-quarter results and raised outlook were covered previously.
