Coherent (COHR) shares led S&P 500 gainers on Friday, Nov. 6, rising 11.86% as U.S. stocks recovered ground after a technology-led sell-off in midday trading.

At 11:51 a.m. ET (16:51 UTC), the S&P 500 stood 0.9% higher. The listed percentages were intraday changes, not closing returns.

Airbnb (ABNB) advanced 11.20%, Vistra (VST) gained 10.19%, and Moderna (MRNA) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) each rose 9.73%. The five companies were the strongest gainers in the S&P 500 snapshot.
