Ether (ETH) dropped 3.40% in the hour through 5:51 p.m. ET Sunday (22:51 UTC), reaching $2,122 on Binance's ETH/USDT spot market in a price snapshot TokenPost collected directly from the exchange. The same snapshot showed ETH down 5.07% over 24 hours.

Binance's ETH/USDT spot quote was $2,196 one hour before the snapshot, putting the current price $74 lower. TokenPost calculated the 3.40% move by comparing those two quotes for the same asset, trading pair, exchange and one-hour window. Across Binance, Bybit and OKX, liquidations during that hour totaled $214.53 million in long positions and $3.17 million in short positions.

Ether ranked as the second-largest crypto asset by market capitalization in the market snapshot, at about $259.26 billion. The long liquidation total exceeded the short total by $211.36 million during the same hour. The 5.07% 24-hour change covers a wider measurement window than the one-hour move, with both figures captured in the same snapshot. The price comparison uses Binance spot ETH/USDT quotes, while the liquidation tally combines Binance, Bybit and OKX.
