A separate Binance perpetuals snapshot showed $6.9951 million more in sell orders than buy orders.

Mentioned assets

Ether (ETH) was priced at $2,238.88 in a market snapshot that showed Binance’s spot order book with $12.1562 million in bids and $7.9391 million in asks, a $4.2171 million bid advantage.

Binance perpetuals showed a different balance, with sell orders exceeding buy orders by $6.9951 million. The figures describe the spot and perpetual markets at the time of the snapshot.

Bids are orders to buy, while asks are orders to sell. A large order can have a greater effect on a thinner order book, where fewer displayed orders are available to absorb it.

A prior Binance Ether order-book snapshot also showed a spot-market bid lead.
