Ripple Executive Chairman and co-founder Chris Larsen has reportedly realized over $764 million in XRP profits since 2018, according to on-chain data from analyst Maartunn shared on October 23. The report highlights that Larsen’s XRP withdrawals surged in 2025, rising sharply from under $200 million to over $750 million as Ripple’s legal challenges eased and investor optimism returned.

The recent data from CryptoQuant shows significant outflows from wallets linked to Larsen, coinciding with XRP’s price rally and the conclusion of the SEC v. Ripple lawsuit. Maartunn noted that Larsen consistently sold XRP near local highs, prompting some whales to liquidate their holdings despite bullish forecasts predicting XRP prices between $5 and $10.

Earlier this week, Larsen transferred 50 million XRP from one of his wallets, sparking temporary panic among investors. However, he later confirmed that the move was an investment in Evernorth, Ripple’s new XRP treasury initiative. This clarification eased community concerns and prevented further selloffs. Evernorth aims to raise $1 billion in funding, including $200 million from SBI, along with additional investments from Ripple, Rippleworks, Pantera Capital, Kraken, and GSR.

Meanwhile, XRP price remains above $2.30, despite a 1.5% drop in the past 24 hours. Trading volume fell by 12%, signaling waning trader interest. Technical indicators show XRP trading below its 50, 100, and 200 SMAs, with the RSInear 40, indicating potential weakness. Analyst Ali Martinez forecasts a decline toward $2 if XRP fails to reclaim the 200-DMA at $2.59, suggesting that profit-taking could persist.

Despite the short-term pressure, CoinGlass data shows cautious optimism in the derivatives market, with XRP futures open interest on CME and Binance climbing slightly, reflecting renewed interest from institutional traders.
