Solana Foundation Names Rachel Conlan Chief Strategy Officer
The foundation also hired Jamal Raees to lead its payments business and expand business use of Solana.
The Solana Foundation named Rachel Conlan as chief strategy officer, placing her in charge of institutional partnerships, ecosystem growth and efforts to bring more companies onto Solana.
Conlan spent three years at Binance, where she served as global chief marketing officer before leaving in June. She will lead the foundation’s strategy work in her new role.
The foundation also hired Jamal Raees as general manager of payments. Raees previously worked at Polygon Labs, stablecoin infrastructure company Bridge, which is now part of Stripe, and cryptocurrency payments company Wyre.
Raees will work to encourage payment companies and other businesses to use Solana to move funds.
