Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong Sees Bitcoin at $300,000 to $400,000 by 2030
Armstrong linked the outlook to Bitcoin’s recurring four-year cycles and historical halving events while highlighting growth across crypto markets.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said Bitcoin (BTC) could reach $300,000 to $400,000 by 2030 if the asset continues to follow patterns from earlier market cycles.
Armstrong made the comments during a Sunday interview with Scott Melker, linking his outlook to Bitcoin’s recurring four-year cycles and historical halving events. Halvings reduce the number of new Bitcoin entering circulation and have historically been followed by major advances and significant corrections.
Armstrong said Bitcoin had recently passed through another cycle phase. He added that, if the market follows patterns seen in the past, the latest decline may have reached a bottom around $60,000.
The view remains conditional on Bitcoin repeating earlier cycle behavior. Armstrong acknowledged that the market’s future path is uncertain.
He also said Bitcoin represents only one part of the broader crypto industry. Stablecoins, perpetual futures, prediction markets and agentic finance are continuing to develop regardless of Bitcoin’s short-term price movements.
