Hunter Biden, son of former President Joe Biden, said limited liquidity shaped early trading in the LAPTOP token, claiming a $6 purchase could have moved its market capitalization by about 5% at launch.

Biden said a market maker provided about $5,000 in liquidity when the token launched. He also claimed wallet records could prove the project was not a scam.

He again addressed criticism of LAPTOP’s first-minute trading and transparency. Biden also said many Democrats misunderstand the crypto industry. He reshared an interview on X.
