MFA Financial Names Bryan Wulfsohn as CEO Effective July 1, 2027

The 16-year company veteran will join MFA Financial’s board on Jan. 1 before becoming chief executive six months later.

MFA Financial will appoint longtime executive Bryan Wulfsohn as chief executive officer on July 1, 2027, as part of a planned leadership succession.

Wulfsohn, a 16-year company veteran, will join MFA Financial’s board on Jan. 1, 2027. He will take over as CEO six months later.

The appointment sets a defined timeline for the transition, with Wulfsohn moving into a board role before assuming the company’s top executive position.
