Former FTX COO Constance Wang Criticizes Netflix’s ‘The Altruists’

Constance Wang, FTX’s former chief operating officer, criticized Netflix’s portrayal of the failed crypto exchange in its upcoming series “The Altruists,” saying the company was depicted inaccurately and overly as a romance story.
Wang said FTX had fewer than 200 employees and that many staff members worked between 16 and 18 hours each day. She objected to the series’ apparent focus on romantic elements rather than the company’s workplace and operations.
“The Altruists” is scheduled to premiere on Netflix Nov. 19.
