Paul Tudor Jones Says Oil Prices Could Rise Another $20 to $25
The Tudor Investment founder and chief investment officer warned that equities would react negatively to a sharp oil-price increase and that corporate issuance could compete with sovereign debt.

Paul Tudor Jones said Tuesday that oil prices could rise another $20 to $25, while warning that a sharp oil-price increase would hurt equities.
“Long oil, bullish on oil,” Jones said in an interview. He added that equities would “absolutely totally hate” a surge in oil prices.
Jones is the founder and chief investment officer of Tudor Investment. His latest comments add to an earlier market outlook in which he warned that 2027 could challenge U.S. stocks as companies may pursue secondary offerings to fund artificial intelligence development.
Jones previously said corporate buybacks and mergers and acquisitions had supported the four-year bull market by reducing the amount of stock available to investors. He expects that support to weaken as more equity offerings reach the market.
He also warned that increased corporate issuance could compete with sovereign-debt supply, adding pressure to financial markets.
