Zama named Irene Patrikios chief business officer, putting her at the helm of a business team that has formed partnerships, launched confidential decentralized finance and built a business pipeline.
Patrikios joined Zama in November 2025, before its mainnet launch. She has argued that public financial activity on blockchains is a barrier to moving large amounts of capital on-chain and that confidentiality is needed for institutions holding global capital to participate.
Zama CEO Rand Hindi and the company’s board are backing the team’s next stage of development.
