NEAR Foundation Adds Helius CEO Mert Mumtaz to Its Council

Mumtaz will participate in NEAR’s product strategy, ecosystem development and governance decisions. NEAR Intents has processed more than $33 billion in cumulative transaction volume.

The NEAR Foundation has appointed Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Solana infrastructure company Helius, to its Foundation Council, adding an industry executive to the body that oversees the foundation and its major decisions.

Mumtaz will participate in NEAR’s product strategy, ecosystem development and governance decisions.

NEAR Intents has processed more than $33 billion in cumulative transaction volume. TVL for privacy assets has exceeded $160 million.
