Truist Financial appointed former Bank of America executive D. Steve Boland to a vice chair post on Friday, giving him a broad role focused on moving the bank’s key initiatives forward.

Boland’s remit covers work across Truist. It includes helping advance the company’s agenda and put its highest-priority initiatives into action.
