Schwartz said he did not know who sent the cards. Separately, some Fuzzycards releases pair physical cards with XRP Ledger NFTs that holders burn to redeem.

Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz posted Thursday, Oct. 22, that he was opening Fuzzycards cards at home, while the project separately offers XRP Ledger NFT-linked releases.

“Opening fuzzy cards in my kitchen. I'm not sure who gifted these to me. @fuzzy_xrp? But thank you!” Schwartz wrote on X, tagging the project account. He said he did not know who had sent the cards.

Some Fuzzycards releases link physical cards to non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the XRP Ledger. For Genesis booster boxes, holders can claim the physical contents by burning the linked NFT. The burn permanently destroys the token, and the Genesis redemption portal is not accepting new transactions.

The project describes its current 150-card game as separate from its First Edition release. TokenPost previously covered Fuzzycards' NFT-linked First Edition packs.
