Two macro portfolio managers have left ExodusPoint Capital Management less than a year after joining the $15.5 billion hedge fund, where both were based in Dubai and each led a team.

Chris Wheeler and Daniel Dangoor are no longer with the firm. Wheeler joined in December 2025 after managing money at BlueCrest Capital and Citadel. Dangoor started in June 2026 as a senior portfolio manager after a year at Goldman Sachs' London office, where he headed macro thematic trading. He previously traded at SPX Capital and Brevan Howard.

ExodusPoint gained 4.1% year to date through September, after losing 0.7% that month. The discretionary macro index rose 3.5% through September, while the broader industry composite gained 6.7%.
