FedEx appointed Jamere Jackson as chief financial officer effective Nov. 30, setting a date for a permanent leadership transition after Claude Russ served in the position on an interim basis since June 1.

Jackson will succeed Russ, who has held the interim CFO role since June 1. Jackson most recently led Finance and Store Development.

Jackson is scheduled to take over the CFO post Nov. 30.
