Tony Edward Says Extreme XRP Price Targets Could Hurt Credibility
He criticized predictions of $10,000, $25,000 and $50,000 per XRP, arguing that institutions may use several blockchain networks.

XRP commentator Tony Edward warned that predictions of $10,000, $25,000 and $50,000 per token could hurt the asset’s credibility and adoption by overlooking market capitalization and institutions’ use of multiple networks.
The three targets were separate figures discussed during the exchange, not a continuous range. Edward argued they fail to account for the market capitalization implied by those prices. He also challenged the idea that financial institutions and central banks would rely solely on XRP or the XRP Ledger, saying adoption may involve multiple blockchains.
Edward spoke on a live show hosted by David Gokhshtein, founder of Gokhshtein Media. He cited Ethereum, Solana (SOL) and the XRP Ledger as networks serving different industries and use cases. He said assumptions that XRP would capture almost all institutional blockchain activity leave out those alternatives.
Gokhshtein criticized extreme price claims circulating on TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms. He recalled seeing $10,000 and $25,000 predictions shortly before the end of a previous year and said such claims could make digital assets difficult for people outside crypto to take seriously. To illustrate what a $10,000 XRP target would imply, Gokhshtein described broad selling of holdings, including precious metals, followed by large amounts moving into XRP.
Gokhshtein also left room for lower double-digit estimates, saying $12 XRP was achievable.
Edward urged investors to diversify rather than concentrate their portfolios in one asset. He described Bitcoin (BTC) as his largest holding and said he planned to keep it for the long term, including as part of his retirement plans. His suggested portfolio also included Ether (ETH), SOL, XRP and Cardano (ADA), which he presented as options for investors building a manageable group of holdings. Edward also urged investors to set realistic expectations and avoid conspiracy theories.
His comments add to an existing debate over a $5-to-$10 range for XRP’s next bull run, which Mason Versluis previously called reasonable.
