Parsons Names George Ball Interim CFO as Matt Ofilos Sets Nov. 6 Exit
Ball led Parsons’ finance operations from 2008 to 2022 and joined its board in 2022. Directors are searching for a permanent CFO.

Parsons Corporation announced Wednesday that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Matt Ofilos will resign effective Nov. 6, with board member George Ball returning to lead finance on an interim basis.
Parsons said Ofilos is leaving to pursue another professional opportunity. The company characterized his resignation as unrelated to a disagreement over its operations, policies or practices. The board is searching for a permanent CFO.
Ball served as Parsons’ CFO from 2008 to 2022 and joined its board in 2022. Ofilos took over the finance role in July 2022.
Carey Smith, Parsons’ chair, president and CEO, said, “I want to thank Matt for his leadership, partnership, and financial stewardship over the past five years.”
