Logan Paul said he distrusts cryptocurrency and called it a scam on a recent podcast after Mike Majlak raised a Binance hack involving about $6 billion in stolen assets.

Majlak’s figure referred to stolen assets. Binance separately estimated the incident’s total impact at about $6.3 billion and said it had frozen about $3 billion of the stolen assets. Binance Co-CEO Yi He said the exchange would bear the full losses from the hack.

Commentators later pointed to Cryptozoo, an NFT game Paul promoted. Buyers have said the project did not launch as promised. In February 2026, Paul renewed a motion to dismiss a Texas federal lawsuit accusing him of carrying out a rug pull through the project. He argued that the latest complaint did not show he was responsible for actions by project entities.
