Shotwell’s SpaceX Share Donation Set for December Allocation
The first batch is going to children ages 11 to 17 in qualifying ZIP codes. Their families will receive notice before Monday.

SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell and her husband, Robert, donated more than 2 million shares for children’s Trump Accounts. The shares are scheduled for allocation in December.
The first batch is being transferred into custodial accounts for children ages 11 to 17. Eligible recipients include children in ZIP codes where median family income is $57,000 or less, as well as children in ZIP codes with populations too small for income data to be reported. Families in those groups will receive notice before Monday.
A second batch is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks. It will include children in military families serving overseas and children in foster care, along with additional children in some Texas counties where median family income is $90,000 or less.
The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) were among the organizations involved in the donation.
