Tom Lee Expects Markets to Stay Strong Through Year-End
He cited broader stock-market participation, lower Treasury yields and oil prices, defensive fund positioning, cautious sentiment and crypto’s resilience after a Binance breach.

Fundstrat co-founder and BitMine Chairman Tom Lee expects markets to remain strong through year-end, saying several signals suggest a possible bottom despite recent volatility.
Lee pointed to the equal-weight S&P 500 rising while the headline index fell, which he viewed as broader market participation. He also cited lower Treasury yields and oil prices, defensive positioning among fund managers and cautious investor sentiment.
Lee said crypto had remained resilient after a security breach at Binance. He also cited the U.S. midterm election cycle, valuations he considers reasonable and strong fundamentals as reasons he believes stocks may be close to a bottom.
The outlook echoes Lee’s earlier view that the technology selloff was nearing its end.
