Trump Discloses Up to $100,000 Strategy Stock Purchase
The July purchase came as his administration advanced cryptocurrency policy through federal regulators and Congress.

President Donald Trump disclosed purchasing up to $100,000 of Strategy shares in July, putting a personal investment in a crypto-linked company alongside his administration's ongoing push for digital-asset policy.
A U.S. Office of Government Ethics filing released Tuesday showed Trump bought between $50,001 and $100,000 of Strategy stock on July 27. He also reported a purchase valued at $1,001 to $15,000 on July 24.
The July 27 transaction was the largest crypto-linked purchase identified in the filing. It matched Trump's largest previously disclosed Strategy purchase, made Feb. 12. The filing reports transactions in value ranges and does not show how many Strategy shares remain in his portfolio.
Strategy is the world's largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, with 846,000 BTC. Trump's July disclosure also included a Coinbase purchase and sales of MARA Holdings and CleanSpark shares.
The filing came as the administration pursued crypto-related measures in Washington. The Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act on Sept. 15, while the Securities and Exchange Commission later cleared limited onchain trading of tokenized U.S. stocks under a temporary exemption and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission eased registration requirements for some software providers serving regulated derivatives markets.
The White House said Trump's stock and bond portfolio is independently managed by third-party financial institutions without input from Trump or his family.
