Coinbase CEO Urges Voters to Weigh Crypto Positions Before Midterms

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong urged U.S. voters to examine candidates’ cryptocurrency positions before the midterm elections, which are about five weeks away.

Armstrong said crypto is not a partisan issue. He also argued that the election will help determine whether the next generation of financial technology is developed in the United States.

His comments put cryptocurrency policy among the issues voters may weigh before choosing candidates.

In a Sept. 25 post, Armstrong said artificial intelligence agents will increasingly use crypto and stablecoins to pay one another. His comments followed Armstrong’s earlier discussion of AI-agent payments.
