Cynthia Lummis to Discuss Digital Asset Rules at Dec. 9 Summit
The Wyoming senator is scheduled to speak at BAPolicySummit as Congress continues debating the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.

Sen. Cynthia Lummis is scheduled to speak at BAPolicySummit on Dec. 9, where she will discuss digital asset regulations as Congress continues debating U.S. cryptocurrency legislation.
Lummis chairs the Senate Banking Committee’s digital-assets subcommittee and has supported the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act). She is also not seeking another six-year term.
The appearance follows the Senate’s rejection of a procedural motion to advance the CLARITY Act on Sept. 15. Senators voted 49-50 against the motion, which required 60 votes to proceed; one senator did not vote.
The bill’s market-structure provisions remain unresolved after the vote. The appearance comes amid ongoing congressional discussions over cryptocurrency legislation.
