Zelensky Calls Trump’s Decision to Lift Russian Diesel Sanctions Weak

Ukrainian President Zelensky condemned President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian diesel imports, calling the move weak.

“It is, in my view, a weak decision,” Zelensky said. He also said the move “looks like a happy birthday present for Putin.”

The decision changes restrictions on Russian diesel imports.

Zelensky criticized the decision and linked it to Putin.

Zelensky made the comments Friday, Oct. 9.
