Alphabet investors have until Dec. 1, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a proposed securities class action tied to allegations involving the delayed development of Gemini 3.5 Pro.

The proposed class covers investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Alphabet securities from May 19 through July 16, 2026. Alphabet securities traded under the tickers GOOGL and GOOG during the period.

The complaint alleges that Alphabet made false or misleading statements, or failed to disclose information, about Gemini 3.5 Pro. The allegations include disappointing training results and a resulting significant delay to the model’s launch.

Alphabet’s Class A shares fell $16.46, or 4.4%, on July 16, while Class C shares declined $16.39, or 4.4%.

Investors do not need to seek lead-plaintiff status to share in any potential recovery. The deadline to seek appointment is Dec. 1, 2026.
