BingX EU Wins Austrian MiCA Authorization for Four Crypto Services
The company plans to serve 29 EEA countries, but has not announced a launch date for the wider rollout.

BingX EU has secured Austrian authorization for four crypto services, giving the exchange’s European entity a regulated foothold as it prepares a broader rollout across the European Economic Area (EEA). The company has not announced when services will become available in the 29 EEA countries it plans to serve.
Austria’s Financial Market Authority issued the authorization to MEGE zweite GmbH on Oct. 13 and published notice of the decision Oct. 14. It covers custody and administration of clients’ crypto assets, exchanges between crypto assets and money, exchanges between crypto assets, and transfers of crypto assets for clients.
BingX EU is preparing to offer services across the EEA and plans to continue working with Austrian and other European regulators. The broader rollout remains subject to applicable cross-border notification arrangements.
The timing follows the end of the European Union’s MiCA transition period on July 1, 2026. Crypto service providers without MiCA authorization must stop serving EU clients after the applicable transition period.
“Operating under MiCAR will allow us to deliver our services under a clear regulatory framework that gives users confidence while supporting the long-term development of Europe's digital ecosystem,” BingX EU CEO Daniel Lai said.
