Bank of Thailand Launches Bangkok Blueprint With 12 Key Considerations
Developed with the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group, the framework groups its considerations across five pillars.

The Bank of Thailand launched its Bangkok Blueprint for Fraud-Resilient Financial Services on Oct. 14, setting out a framework intended to strengthen defenses against digital financial fraud and build trust in digital services.
Developed with the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group, the framework organizes 12 key considerations across five pillars. The announcement concerns the Blueprint itself, a framework for fraud-resilient financial services.
The Blueprint is distinct from a companion paper on regional experiences and policy lessons, which covers Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. That paper describes recurring fraud features, including victim manipulation, links between scam tactics and social media, and rapid movement of funds.
