Thai Police Arrest Chinese Man Sought Over Money-Laundering Allegations
Thai police linked the network to more than 500 million yuan in transactions and separately alleged he handled crypto and foreign-exchange activity through more than 133 accounts.

Thai immigration police arrested a 37-year-old Chinese man in Bangkok who was wanted by Chinese police over suspected ties to a transnational crime network and money laundering.
Thai police put the network’s transaction total above 500 million yuan. Separately, they alleged he processed cryptocurrency and foreign-exchange transactions through more than 133 accounts and helped network members arrange visas.
Thai police alleged he tried to evade capture with falsified residence-registration documents, changed license plates and alterations to a vehicle’s appearance. Thai authorities would handle his overstay under the law and coordinate his deportation to China for investigation.
