York Space Systems Inc. (NYSE: YSS) investors seeking to lead a securities class action must ask a court for the role by Oct. 30, 2026. The lawsuit has already been filed, but no class has been certified.

The proposed case covers people who bought York Space common stock tied to its January 2026 initial public offering or securities from Jan. 29 through May 11, 2026. A lead plaintiff represents other class members and helps direct the litigation.

The lawsuit alleges York Space’s onboard mission and payload software was not fully functional before satellites launched, putting contracts with the Space Development Agency at risk. It also alleges that the company misled the Pentagon agency to win contracts and delivered satellites with mission-critical software incomplete.

Investors may remain absent class members without taking action. Their ability to share in a potential recovery does not depend on serving as lead plaintiff. A class has not been certified, so investors are not represented by counsel unless they retain one. The deadline to seek lead-plaintiff status is Oct. 30, 2026.
