Baidu Investors Have Until Nov. 13 to Seek Lead Plaintiff Role
The proposed class covers purchases from Nov. 18, 2025, through Aug. 17, 2026. The lawsuit challenges Baidu’s statements about AI and online marketing.

Baidu, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIDU) investors who purchased the company’s securities during the proposed class period have until Nov. 13, 2026, to seek the lead plaintiff role in a lawsuit over alleged statements about AI and advertising.
The proposed class covers purchases from Nov. 18, 2025, through Aug. 17, 2026. The lawsuit alleges Baidu overstated its AI business’s ability to cushion declines in legacy online marketing and says company revenue was likely to fall.
The suit also challenges positive statements about Baidu’s business and outlook, claiming they were misleading or lacked adequate support. A lead plaintiff represents other members of the proposed class and directs the litigation.
The class has not been certified. Investors may remain absent members of the proposed class without taking action now, and their ability to share in any potential recovery does not depend on serving as lead plaintiff. Until certification, investors are not represented by counsel unless they retain one.
