Peru’s banking, insurance and pension regulator has opened a second package of proposed open finance rules for public comment, laying out technical and security requirements for information sharing.

The Superintendencia de Banca, Seguros y AFP (SBS) published the draft Monday, Oct. 19. It outlines proposed components including a directory of participants, a developer portal and technical standards for data-exchange interfaces. The package also addresses security and data quality.

The new provisions build on an earlier package of proposed rules for Peru’s planned open finance system. Together, the two sets form part of an effort to let participants exchange financial information under common standards. The latest package focuses on the technical requirements for that exchange.

The rules are still proposals. The SBS will accept public comments through Nov. 6 before finalizing the regulation.
