Argentina’s Comisión Nacional de Valores (CNV) President Roberto E. Silva discussed the impending implementation of Fondos de Asistencia Laboral (FAL), intended to help employers anticipate labor obligations and direct resources into capital markets.

Silva discussed the funds at the 2026 fintech summit. He described them as a tool to give employers greater predictability while bringing resources into Argentina’s capital markets.

The summit agenda included digital payments and asset tokenization.

The CNV, Argentina’s securities regulator, is working to establish a framework to accompany the funds’ rollout. Silva said the framework is intended to provide predictability for financial market participants as implementation approaches.
