AnaptysBio shares closed 7.74% lower on Oct. 20 as the Delaware Court of Chancery held a post-trial hearing in its contract dispute with GSK and Tesaro over rights to the cancer drug Jemperli.

GSK’s U.S. depositary shares ended the session 2.37% higher. The hearing was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. ET (17:30 UTC). The share moves do not establish what caused either stock to change price.

AnaptysBio discovered Jemperli, and Tesaro later developed it. AnaptysBio alleges that Tesaro breached their collaboration agreement and that GSK interfered with it. GSK and Tesaro dispute the allegations. AnaptysBio is seeking the return of its rights to the drug.

The case went to trial July 14-17. The post-trial hearing followed the expanded U.S. approval for Jemperli on Oct. 19 for a type of rectal cancer.

A ruling is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026 or the first quarter of 2027.
