Cambodian Courts Freeze Nearly $1 Billion in Prince Group Assets
The holdings include casinos, buildings and thousands of properties. Authorities also arrested three people in a case linked to scam compounds.

Cambodian courts have frozen nearly $1 billion in assets tied to Prince Group, including casinos, buildings and thousands of properties, as authorities arrested three people in a case linked to scam compounds.
The frozen holdings span several property types. Buildings and casinos are included, alongside thousands of real estate properties. The freeze covers both commercial venues and a large portfolio of property tied to the group.
The investigation identified 198 companies linked to Prince Group. Ninety-eight are in Cambodia and 100 are overseas, a near-even split that puts slightly more than half of the associated companies outside the country. The company count shows the inquiry extends across domestic and foreign entities.
Authorities arrested three people in the case: Ing Dara, an important Prince Group member, Huang Ron and Eang Soklim. Ing Dara was transferred to court for legal proceedings. The arrests are part of the case tied to scam compounds, alongside the court-ordered freeze of assets linked to the group.
